Hi, my name is Emily.

I’m a designer and researcher passionate about digital fabrication, computational design, programmable matter, and interactive devices.

I received a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, with Concentration in Morphology and Minor in Human-Computer Interaction, from Pratt Institute. I have been doing research at the HCIE Group at MIT CSAIL, Center for Experimental Structures at Pratt SOA and Morphing Matter Lab at UC Berkeley MechE. I also have work experience in design and fabrication.

I grew up in Vancouver, Canada and Guangzhou, China. I also love to draw, boulder, and ski.
