Morphology is the study of form, pattern, and geometry found in nature, which may inspire human-made structures to become stronger, more efficient, and more sustainable. I took an interest in minimum surfaces, studying ways to aggregate and morph them.

This is a new class of deployable structures that harness the locomotion of a single bistable cap to drive the expansion of attached scissor mechanism structures.
